Weekend feast @ my PG

It was a sunny saturday @ Bengaluru .....

Yes! Sun came in to my bed and pushing me to get out of the bed... Believe me, I defeated the SUN... And ofcourse dint want to get up only inspite of continuous message and call ringtones... More than SUN, my roomies RAVA uppuma provoked me to get up...

It was 10.30 am, and i just peeped in our common kitchen, all my PG-mates had finished their morning quota and happily sitting in the hall to get ready for second hunting of week-end special lunch... All were cutting veggies,cleaning vessels and applying oil to their hair.... I felt really embarrased as i was the one not yet started my day.... It was really sick on seeing all of them very much active with their daily routines.....

On top of all one of the PG mates Pinky who is from North India telling to all my fellow mates "I am thinking ki... Tomorrow ki I can prepare Non Veg in our North indian style... I can assure you that it will be good.. Even my BF (here it is Boy Friend) likes it very much (!!! So, we have to!!!!).... mathlab.... You people will aslo like it... you all just help me in cutting and cleaning... that is it... " I gave her frustrating look :) and my roomie could able to read my mind flow and told everyone that what i can eat BTW, as i m a pure Vegetarian.......... All gave me pity look....

You know... how nice it ll be? if someone prepares deliciouls food and serving you on week end... But unfortunately (donno if i m fortunate... Never tasted her food b4)

argggggggggg............arggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg...... i was not having any stuffs to plan my BF... I had go out to buy all ingradients . I too was so desparate not to go out.... I was thinking when i am struggling to execute my BF( here it is breakfast) plan, how they all can think about lunch... and that too for tomorrow.....

Still i smiled at them and replied telling "See... you people carry on... it is ok... Pinky... I like your rotties... One day you can make rotties and Veg curry for me... for sure i ll be liking it"... and i left the hall as i got remineded of phone call disturbances when i was in deep sleep around 9.30 am(!!!) in the morning...

To my surprise, i had received a message from my team mate... content was "When are you coming to office?" I thought i m gone today. Already i was hungry and how would i go to office without having BF. FOA i was not intrested only to go to office...... sitting at office without food, it will be even more horrible....

Pinky was serving biscuits and some delicious north indian sweets to everyone... it was my turn.. She came to me and offered them. It was really tempting on looking at them... then imagine, how would it be on tasting?... When i was about to take, it striked me one thing... on so much dislike, i refused them and told her "I am fasting today and m not supposed to take sweets".

- ---- me fasting??? no ways... when i m eating four times a day, how would i fast? it never happes even sun rises in the west - then what!!!

uuuuuuuuu ------- i hvnt brushed my teeth which i cant tell her coz she would make fun on me telling i m lazy enough to brush my teeth -------- uuuuuuuu

I gone back to my mobile and called my team mate back.
She had come to office very early around 9.30 am and found no one except office boy. She had come rushing as it got late (week day office timings 8 am - 5.30 pm) for her to make 9.00 am entry time. She had taken so much pain and even sacrificed her BF (breakfast) to swipe in before 9.00 am. Imagine.... Noone else was there @ office, coffee machine was not filled with milk (Coffee boy hadn't come yet), nothing there @ cafeteria.......... She had found it horrible and hence she had called me back to get to know when i would come.....

I could understand her situation very well... Yes! We both dint hv our BF yet.....

I shouted at her for skipping her BF... and gave her full lecture how bad it is if BF is skipped... It came out naturally as i found myself weak without having BF... So i kept going in my stand .....
We both were sailing in the same boat.... hence we developed our mutual understanding better n better... As my PG is very close to our office, i invited her to my PG to have BF. [On weekends, only lunch will be availble @ office]

Though i knew very well that i dint hv any of necessary stuffs to cook, i had invited her. It was around 10.45 am, i pushed her off to start as early as possible.
She knew that my PG is very close to BACK gate of our office so she agreed to come.

As per company norms, back gate would be closed @ 10.30 and kept opened after 5.30 pm

I was very much sure that she would n't take BACK GATE route and suggested her to hire a rick [From main gate, my PG is very far.... i takes 20 mins by bus]

She could able to convince our security guard and come out of the back gate... She was very happy that she could come out through BACK gate @ 10.50 AM and immediately called me to my number and started telling that "Vidhya!!! I came out... Now tell me the route.. I will be there in 5 mins... be ready with your preparation... We shall have BF... Listen! I want MAGGI noodles, it is long time since i had it. so i would like to have MAGGI".............

OMG... How come! How it was possible... My calculation was that it definetely would take half an hour for her to reach my PG if she taken MAIN ENTRANCE GATE route and i would also get some 25 mins buffer time to prepare BF for her. [ shopping @ nearby grocery shop $ 10 mins + preparation time 15 mins + 5 mins for me to get ready ]......... All my strategic planning gone in vain.......

Our conversation over phone cntd.,

It was me - " Ok. Rekha... good... Our security guard has mercy on you... Really you made it! It is your day! Now you take left from BACK gate... keep coming STRAIGHT.... and left... u just call me if u stuck in somewhere in the middle .... i can guide you... BTW, where are you? [uuu -- guessting that she must be standing near to grocery shop which is next to BACK GATE -- uuuuuuu]

Rekha" I am standing infront of Bakery Shop"

me "uuuuuuuuu - Is there any grocery shop next to that bakery shop?" " IS THERE? " - In low voice

Rekha - with high voice as though that was the landmark to identify my PG and with full excitement "Eureka.... Yes Vidhya! I got it.... It is there pa... Yes"
Me - " Okkkkk... Rekha"
Rekha - "hmm... Sollunga"
Me - "Can you buy two MAGGI noodles from there"
Rekha - "What????? arg........arggggggg......... you are making me to buy everything for myself... see... i m your guest... i m not supposed to buy... Haven't you heard of hospitality?"

- it seemed like it was her turn to give me back for adivising her no to skip BF -

Rekha - " After i get it only... you will start preparing... then it will become too late for me. Now it is 10.55 am. i thought with in half an hour i can finish off my BF and return office. if it s going to take so much time na, it is better i go back to office"
- both of us went MUTE mode
Rekha - " Vidhyaaaaaaa... Vidhya"""
me - 'hmmm"
Rekha - "Now I can't go back thorugh BACK gate. Security guy given me clear instruction that he wlln't open it while coming in... Though i m standing nxt of our office building... i can't go back" me - "yes pa... that's why i m inviting here... it is near to back gate... come down... you can relax for some time"
Rekha - " Vidhya... I am hungry too... you are not at ll understanding"
me - "rekha... We will have MAGGI noodles... come over" - dint remind her again that she had to buy MAGGI
Rekha - "ok... i wll get noodles packet... Dont worry"
me - "so sweet.. so nice of you... i know you are good @ understanding " [Believe me, I know that she can understand only our project code and nothing else :P]
Rekha - "okies... ll catch you at ur PG"
me - "Rekha.. How about having tea along with MAGGI?"
Rekha - "delicious... nice combo... i hate our office ka vending machine tea pa... i like home made tea... "
me - "Even i like this combo..." with low voice - [ uuuu --- i desparately wanted to have tea. Not even single day in my life i have spent my day without coffee/TEA... it is must for me --- uuu]
Rekha - "Vidhya... When it comes to food, we both have same taste right from A2B idly till home made tea. it is simply gr8"
me - "yeah... you are right... you are in right track now" [ Yes now i can ask her]
Rekha - "What do you mean?"
me - "Can you pls get Milk packet too? I know you like to have it. Only half ltr is enough for us... 500 ml is suffificient....... that's all... see i have sugar powder and tea powder with me.... you needn't worry about it
Rekha - gone to mute state
me - 'And you know rekha... i can say you are lucky... Yesterday only our gas was refilled... so we need not fear that gas might be over at any time..."
Rekha - " Vidhya pls.... enough... keep the Phone.... i ll get milk packet..."

Atlast she managed to locate our PG. I was introducing all @ our PG mates to her... she was quite silent for sometime and soon after i started boiling milk and water (4 noodles), she become NORMAL and we were totally in to casual discussion as usual

When i was about to finish cooking MAGGI and TEA, she surpirsed me gifting me TWO DAIRY MILK CHOCOS... I was totally astonished... i was bit sad as i had refused the sweets from Pinky... coz of Rekha my wish came true... [Believe me, i had brushed my teeth by then i.e did it when Rekha was on her way to my PG]

MAGGI and TEA also had come out well.... We ate nicely.... DAIRY MILK added more flavour to my feast.......... As a proof i m attaching the pics.......... And moreoever we both are still alive after tasting my delicious MAGGI

And finally i also accompanied her to office and did good time pass @ office!!!
